The KCCC takes great pride in preparing fresh, healthy meals for our children that support healthy eating habits and their learning and development.
As part of our quality standards and commitment to health and safety, the KCCC features a purpose-built kitchen and dining room which enables our kitchen staff to prepare delicious meals for our children each day.
Our talented chef Michaela Bury is well-known for her ability to create delicious meals that children love.
Prepared fresh daily on site, children enjoy morning and afternoon snacks that include fresh fruit and hand made slices plus a main meal in the middle of the day that is packed with protein, vitamins and minerals specially designed to meet their nutritional requirements.

When preparing any type of food or drink at the KCCC, our centre is bound by the Food Hygiene Legislation and Childcare Regulations 2016, Part V no.22 Food & Drink, taking account of the Food and Nutrition Guidelines for Pre School Services.
The KCCC team takes this responsibility very seriously and works hard to plan healthy, nutritious meals that help to support the development of health eating behaviours.
